Workers’ Day: Jos industrialist Mkparu, felicitates with workers
A Jos based pipe manufacturer giant has felicitated with workers in the State and the country at large on the 2023 Workers’ Day celebration.
The Pipe manufacturer, owner of NELMACO Groups, Amb. Nelson Mkparu, said that the workers have proved themselves as great allies of the country, stating that the support of the workers’ towards the Restoration, Transformation and Repositioning of the country is highly commendable.
He noted that NELMACO appreciates the commitment and dedication to duty of the workers in the country and assured that he knows that the government will not relent in its resolve to continue to improve the quality of life of the workers in the country and the entire citizenry as a whole, stressing that he is also aware that concerted efforts are being made to ensure that the new incoming government pays the new increased salary of workers.
According to him: “We felicitate with the workers in the country on this year’s Workers’ Day Celebration. They have been very supportive and their immense contributions to the development of the country is worthy of commendation. Nigerian workers have been partners in progress with the government providing the required atmosphere for democracy to thrive and supporting every administration with the mission to build a modern country.
“At NELMACO we will continue to strive hard to ensure that our workers get the best and their welfare will continue to be a priority. We urge them not to relent in their support for the government and to always discharge their duties efficiently and effectively,” Mkparu added.
Our correspondent reports that NELMCO currently employs over 200 staff in the company’s payroll, an effort that has taken a lot of jobless youths off the street.
