Zelensky complains of waiting for weapons West promises
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has complained about the wait for large armaments from the West.
He said his country still had to ask for support and equipment but is always told to wait.
“They are telling us that we need to wait in the situation when we are losing hundreds of people on a daily basis because of the Russian attacks, when dozens of our cities have been destroyed.”
Zelensky, in a video address to the Finnish parliament, noted that Finland had been quick in sending defence equipment to his country.
He once again called for the cutting of all economic ties with Russia, saying that “freedom will not survive if we leave channels that will be fed by these sources of income.
“We share this common value.
“The war is equally evil for everyone.”
