Fayose wins polling unit as police arrest 4 in Okota

 Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has won his polling unit for the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The result from Afao Ekiti, Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government polling unit where Fayose voted showed that PDP polled 225 as against 82 polled by APC.

Meanwhile the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Lagos Command has confirmed arrest of four persons in connection with the disruption of voting and destruction of voting materials in Okota, Okota in Oshodi/Isolo council area of Lagos State.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Zubairu Muazu, made the disclosure during a visit to the affected polling units.

Muazu was in company with an Assistant Inspector-General of Police monitoring elections in Lagos State, Mr David Folawiyo.

He said that the suspects would soon be charged with disrupting elections and damage to election materials.
