2023: First northern state to go public with Tinubu campaign emerges
In the run-up to January when APC national leader Bola Tiubu will address his many support base as 2023 approaches, a northern state fully committed to his dream is close to making the preparation official.
Hajiya Mariya Buhari, wife of Katsina’s deputy governor, has been appointed National women leader of Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO).
This was contained in a letter signed by the Director General of the organisation, Hon Aminu Suleiman.
“I am pleased to inform you that your appointment is confirmed as NATIONAL WOMEN LEADER of Tinubu Support Organtzation (TSO).”
“This is In recognition of your immense love and believe in His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Political Ideologies as well as your immeasurable contributions towards the attainment of the organization’s aims and objectives.
“The terms and conditions of your appointment as well as your expected duties shall be as contained in the Constitution of the Organization.
“It is my hope and believe that this confirmation will serve as a motivation gear for you to continue to put in your utmost for the realization of the organization’s objectives,” the letter read in part.
Hajiya Mariya Buhari is a graduate of Kaduna Polytechnic.
The TSO is one of the many support groups springing up regularly to encourage the APC leader join the 2023 presidential race.
It may not surprise many Katsina, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari whom Tinubu helped bring to office, is rooting for a southerner.
Leaders of thought in the north, including the Arewa Consultative Forum, have insisted the north cannot cede power to the south jut by oral arguments.
