Olu Jacobs suffering from Dementia with Lewy Body

Finally, actress Joke Silva has revealed the health challenges her husband Olu Jacobs ig grappling with.

There have been wide rumours springing up every now and the about the death or otherwise of the veteran actor.

But Joke told Chude Jideonwo that her husband has dementia—the type with Lewy body (DLB).

“He is dealing with issues and it is been going on for a couple of years. It is known as dementia with Lewy body,” she said.

“It is a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it is almost like a Parkinson type of disease, it affects the brain and affects the person.

According to her, this is the first time she will be going public with it.

“But the thing is, it is hard on him because he doesn’t understand what is going on and it is hard on us family members as well,” she said.
