6 APC presidential aspirants buy forms; 14 waiting, five days to end sale
Only six of the 20 presidential aspirants in the APC have bought the expression of interest and nomination forms.
The ruling party began selling nomination forms to presidential, governorship and federal parliamentary aspirants on Tuesday, April 26.
Sale ends May 6.
The six presidential aspirants are APC national leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello, his Ebonyi counterpart, Dave Umahi, former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha and Educatio Minister Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba.
Uju Kennedy, the only woman presidential aspirant, has also picked her nomination forms after paying N30 million.
V.P Yemi Osinbajo, Ministers Rotimi Amaechi and Chris Ngige–all currently in the APC federal government–have yet to drop N100 million each to buy the forms.
