BBNaija: The real story behind Kayvee unceremonious exit

Kayvee, a contestant in the ongoing Big Brother reality show, has withdrawn from the show after other housemates raised concern over his mental health.

In a brief read by Pere to other housemates, Biggie said Kayvee has consulted his doctors and decided to withdraw from the show.

“As you all know your fellow housemate, Kayvee has been unwell. He has consulted with his doctors and decided to withdraw from the show. He sends his greetings and asks that you help him pack his bags,” Pere read.

Kayvee joined the show a week ago alongside other new housemates Michael, JMK, and Queen.

Housemates in the Big Brother House have expressed worry over the recent ‘weird’ attitude displayed by Kayvee, one of the new housemates.

They note that the photographer (Kayvee) has been acting strangely recently which is why they are concerned.

Whitemoney while speaking to Liquorose, Emmanuel, and some other housemates on Sunday said he is not sure if Kayvee’s new display is a prank as he acts weird.

Whitemoney said, “He went to the washing machine that was in use by someone else and turned it off. He went to the tap, opened it and washed his face; he looked at us, hissed and left. Is this a prank? This is not funny.”

He said afterward he (Whitemoney) tried to greet Kayvee and he did not respond to his greetings.

Whitemoney lamented Kayvee’s attitude is no longer funny, stressing he is not sure if Kayvee is playing a prank or has really lost his sense.

Meanwhile, his family, in a letter posted on the official Instagram page of their son, said they will never allow him to go into the competition if he had a mental health issue.

“The KayVee we know isn’t what people are painting him to be. His friends and family will never allow him to go into the house if he had a mental health issue. KayVee is big on mental health and positive vibes, and you could see that from when he entered the house.

“What is happening in the house is simply a reaction to him being unwelcomed. He was full of life when he got into the house, and something has triggered this phase. This has caused him to withdraw into his shell to rebuild his energy and vibe.

“Have you met #KayVee? If 20 people are in a room and down spirited, he’s always there to uplift them. We could see how he played this role for his fellow housemate, Angel. He is a kind person, and that’s one of the qualities that makes us super supportive of him.
