Lamborghini stolen in Switzerland found with Nigerian plate number in Ghana

After offering a cash reward of ₦4.7million, a Switzerland Lamborghini owner recently found his stolen car in Ghana with a Nigerian plate number.

Not too long ago, a man identified as Torun lost a fortune after he rented out a Lamborghini to a man with a Ghanaian passport in front of Hilton Airport Hotel in Switzerland. The stolen car is a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder with registration number ZG-27482, churning out 610 horsepower from its V10 engine. According to the owner of the luxury car, the man that stole his Lamborghini was a guest in the hotel and he decided to trust him with his exotic car. But now, the Lambo car that was stolen in Switzerland has been found with a Nigerian plate number in Ghana. Yes, you read that correctly.

Torun revealed that the Ghanaian refused to return his car back to him as he went on to upgrade its GPS. As a result, this made it almost impossible for them to track the location of the vehicle when it wasn’t returned at the expected date. He added that the vehicle was spotted with a Nigerian special plate number ‘Chosen 1’ in Ghana after it was declared stolen in Switzerland. Before the vehicle was found in Ghana, the owner had already promised a cash reward of €10,000 (₦4.7million) for anyone that comes with tangible information on its whereabouts and how it can be found. Torun also said the suspect contacted him on Instagram and begged him for resolution after seeing his photos online.

Apparently, his pleas fell on their right ears as the man and the Luxury Rental Benelux removed the pictures of him and the stolen car from their page. The Luxury rental Benelux with Instagram Id @luxuryrentalbenelux has used the car for rental and has claimed it to be owned by Torun. While an investigation is ongoing, evidence has not clearly stated that the particular car found in Ghana with a Nigerian plate number truly belongs to Torun. Perhaps, it might be a mistaken identity.
