Easy methods of getting rid of mouth odour
The mouth is a medium for growth of bacterias which feed on the reminants of the food we eat. Not brushing or flossing regularly, foods like onion, garlic, infections and diabetes etc can cause mouth odour.
This article is for you if you want to get rid of mouth odour without stress from the comfort of your home in less than 2 minutes. According to Healthline, the following are ways of getting rid of mouth odour
1. Brushing/flossing regularlyThis is the first step you should take if you are tired of mouth odour. Brushing your teeth regularly twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste for at least 2 minutes will not only get rid of mouth odour, it will also prevent tooth decay abd bacteria growth in your mouth
2. Tongue scrapingYou can also practice tongue scraping. Bacterias get accumulated on the tongue which can cause mouth odour. You can get rid of these odour by using a toothbrush, tongue scraper, brush to scrape your tongue at least once per day
3. Pineapple juiceThis is believed to be the quickest and most effective treatment for mouth odour. All you have to do is drink a glass of pineapple juice after a meal or chew on a slice for at least 2 minutes. Rinse mouth thoroughly afterwards
4. Baking soda mouthwashAdd 2 teaspoons of baking sodas to 1 cup of warm water. Then swish in your mouth for at least 30 seconds before liquid pouring out
5. Vinegar mouth washVinegar contains acetic, a natural acid that inhibits bacterial growth. To make mouth wash, add 2 tablespoon of white or apple vinegar to 1 cup of water. Swish in mouth for at least 30 seconds then pour out
6. WaterDon’t leave your mouth too dry because it might cause mouth odour eg your mouth dries out when you sleep, hence you wake up with bad breath. Drink lots of water at least 8 cups daily
