Victim outsmarts kidnap gang, works his rescue, arrest of kidnappers
Anambra State Police Command operatives, on 17/5/2022 rescued a kidnap Victim, one Jideofor Attama Aged 32yrs from Igboetiti of Enugu State.
He was abducted May 14 at about 10pm along Nnewi road in his Rava 4 jeep, by a gang of five armed men operating in a Toyota Sienna vehicle, with Registration number KGE 117 PZ Imo State.
The kidnap gang demanded N10 million in ransom from the victim’s family.
Jideofor however escaped on his own , and alerted security guards and the police in the area.
Following the successful rescue of the victim, the police operatives arrested two of the suspects, one Chukwudere Eze of Ogbunka in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State and Raphael Obasi Aged of Arodizuogu in Imo State.
The operatives also recovered brown Toyota Sienna.
