Joe Igbokwe reacts as Buhari meets with governors, gives hint of his preferred successor
A few minutes ago former spokesperson and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress Party (APC), Lagos branch best known as Joe Igbokwe took to his official Facebook page to react as President Muhammadu Buhari Meets with Governors and gives a hint of his preferred successor
In his Facebook post, the elder statesman uploaded a new publication by the Daily Sun with the photo of Muhammadu Buhari alongside some party members as it indicates that the president met with the Governors in a closed-door meeting.
The report further noted that the commander in chief was said to have told the State leaders that they needs a candidate that is capable of winning the election. It also stated that the person must be able to represent the party’s positive quality on Democratic principles, Culture, and Leadership, and embark on a state visit to Spain
The Special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu who seems to be a strong supporter of Bola Tinubu could not say many words as he could only affirm that they do want the person who can indeed succeed in the forthcoming election in 2023.
Although the report implies that President Buhari gave a clue as to whom he thinks can deliver but he was said not to have mentioned the identity of the individual
The big question is who do you think maybe the preferred candidate for the presidents
