Yahaya Bello fumes after Northern Governors drop name from consensus candidates
Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello has sent serious warnings to his colleagues who are streamlining the numbers of aspirants to contest at the APC presidential primaries today.
News reports have it that some northern governors supported that power shift to the south and asked all northern aspirants to step down.
Governor Yahaya Bello, who is from the north central refused to listen to their request, citing the fact that he bought his presidential form and is entitled to contest in the primary election today.
Earlier this morning, some governors cut the numbers of aspirants down to five, removing all northern aspirants from the list. In his reaction, Governor Yahaya Bello noted that there will be trouble if he is not included in the ballot this evening.
