Joe Igbokwe reacts as Reno Omokri predicts hard times ahead for bandits over naira notes redesign

A Nigerian politician and a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe while sharing on his official Facebook page has reacted to a statement made by Reno Omokri, a well known Nigerian social media personality and human rights activist following the report that the Federal Republic of Nigeria has revealed plans to change the designs of the national currencies.

It might interest you to know that the Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed plans to change the designs of the national currencies. This was made known to the public by the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele during a press conference in Abuja. The currencies that would be changed include #200, #500, #1000 notes.

Based on these notes, the former Special Assistant to the former president, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, Reno Omokri, while sharing on his official Twitter page has noted that the redesign of the national currencies is a good idea, adding that kidnappers, bandits, and corrupt elements have stockpiles of Naira notes that they can’t put in the bank, adding that with the new change in Naira notes, their billions will be useless.

This particular statement made by Reno Omokri has attracted a lot of attention as many Nigerians, including the exceptionally boisterous APC and Bola Tinubu supporter and special adviser to the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on drainage and water resources, Joe Igbokwe, took to his official Facebook page to react.

While sharing on his official Facebook page, Joe Igbokwe who seem to be pleased with Reno Omokri’s statement said, “It will help. It is for the good of the commonwealth”.
