Obi insists he won 2023 presidential elections, vows to explore legal means to reclaim mandate
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the presidential election, Peter Obi, at media briefing on Thursday, insisted that he won the election, vowing to explore all legal means to reclaim his mandate.
At the briefing, attended by the Labour Party National Chairman, Julius Abure and the Director General of the Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Akin Osuntokun, Obi observed a one-minute silence for all the people who were either injured or died during the February 25 elections.
Obi had declared: “We will explore all legal and peaceful option to reclaim our mandate. We won the election and we will prove it to Nigeria.”
Obi thanked youths who transformed into ‘Obidients’, for their massive support, enjoining them not to be deterred by the outcome of the Saturday elections.
Obi assured: “We will work for that new Nigeria that is possible.
“Datti and I remain committed to that new Nigeria.”
