Finally, Tuchel finds reason behind Bayern’s latest woes
Thomas Tuchel has finally found the reason behind Bayern‘s latest woes. The German has not refrained from blaming England captain Harry Kane for their latest loss after two previous straight defeats.
The Bavarians were beaten 3-0 by league leaders Bayer Leverkusen last week. Tuchel’s men again slipped to a 1-0 loss to Lazio in the Champions League in midweek.
Bayern who were in desperate need to bounce back however suffered yet another loss after falling to a 3-2 away defeat at VFL Bochum on Sunday. The Bundesliga champions now find themselves eight points off the top with 12 games remaining.
Tuchel’s side ended the game on Sunday with 10 men after Dayot Upamecano was sent off for the second game in a row but Kane also didn’t cover himself in glory.

The England captain reduced the deficit late on to make it 3-2 with his 29th goal of the season.
But he spurned a golden chance in the first half, blazing over after Jamal Musiala had played him through.
And Tuchel bemoaned the miss and a number of others, which he believes proved costly.
Speaking to DAZN, he said: “We created some top-class chances. Harry’s chance in the first half may have been the deciding factor.
“If he finished that with one touch instead of trying to play it, the game is over. I don’t think today’s defeat was fair; I think a lot went against us.
“I think we had an xG value of 3.4 and we had four, five, six top-class chances. We completely dominated the game and actually went behind out of nowhere. We never stopped putting in the effort until the end and then played with a man down for a long time. A lot went against us. I feel today’s defeat is different to the last two.”
Bayern have won 11 Bundesliga titles in a row but now face a tough task to retain their crown, with Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen well-placed to finally win the German top flight.
Tuchel is under immense pressure but Bayern have been reported to having no plans of sacking the former Chelsea boss.
Bayern will square up against RB Leipzig on Saturday in their next crunch clash.
