Kogi Doctors begin indefinite strike Wednesday
Members of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Kogi State chapter, have declared an indefinite strike action starting from Wednesday, May 3, 2017, over unpaid salaries.
The association Secretary, Dr. Zubair Kabiru, Monday issued a statement signed by the Chairman, Dr. Tijani Godwin. The group said it was disappointed in the state government for not honoring its agreement to settle doctors’ outstanding salaries and arrears.
