Buhari arrives venue of APC National Convention
President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the Eagles Square, Abuja, venue of the Saturday, June 23, 2018, National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (ACP), the first since the formation of the party. The president arrived the venue at 3.05pm after other party leaders who include APC national Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Right Honourable Yakubu Dogara, as well as APC governors, ministers and other party stalwarts.
The arrival of the president was followed by other protocols, including opening prayers, leading to the commencement of the convention.
National Daily monitors the live telecast of the convention from Lagos.
The ruling party will be electing new members of the National Working Committee (NWC), including the national chairman, national secretary and others for the administration of the APC in the next four years.
