Official: Inter meets Icardi
Inter have confirmed that they have met Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara with a view to ‘finding a solution that suits everyone’.
Icardi has not played for Inter since being stripped of the captaincy on February 13, but the situation appears to have finally taken a step forward.
“General manager Beppe Marotta met Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara today,” the club tweeted.
“It was a friendly meeting, aimed at finding a solution that suits everyone.”
It now remains to be seen what the outcome of the meeting was, amidst speculation the striker could undergo knee surgery and rule himself out for the rest of the season.
