Adamu Garba reacts as EFCC arrests Accountant General of the Federation
According to the recent report from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, they revealed that the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris was arrested for N80 billion Naira fraud.
The Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrested the serving Accountant General of the Federation, Mr. Ahmed Idris on Monday.
Reacting to the incident, Former presidential Aspirant, Adamu Garba released a statement via his twitter handle, where he condemned Ahmed Idris for money laundering.
In his statement he stated, “This is the cardinal damage caused by the current administration. An accountant general who is supposed to maintain the public account was arrested over N80 billion fraud. This means he stole N400 per Nigerian citizen and of 200M people. Just one Man! What a shame to APC Govt”.
