AIG appeals for support to police in fight against crime
THE newly elevated Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, Mohammed Kastina, has urged Nigerians to give useful and adequate information to the police to assist the force combat and reduce crime and criminality in the Country.
AIG Kastina made the appeal when the Chief Executive officer of Adesun Security outfit, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, paid him a courtesy at the force headquarters in Lagos.
AIG Kastina expressed appreciation to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Solomon Arase for elevating him to the position of AIG and promised he would not to relent in his good works.
He urged members of the public to assist the police in achieving his aims and objectives.
Sunday Igboho, while speaking during the visit, said that the era of AIG Kastina as commissioner of police in Oyo State witnessed a low tide in crime perpetration as criminals gave the state a wide berth.

He described AIG Kastina as a dedicated police officer who had brought high level of professionalism to bear on his duties.
He advised the AIG not to relent with his no-nonsense attitude to crime and criminals in the country.
Sunday Igboho is of the opinion that AIG Mohammad Kastina will definitely use is wealth of experience to promote The Nigeria Police Force because AIG Kastina his a man that believes in justice and equity.
He further stated that AIG Kastina is a dedicated police officer of a notable character. He therefore urged him to use his position to show the world that we now have a viable and decent police in Nigeria.
