Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has eulogized the late Alhaji Lamidi Ajadi, Baba Adinni of Ibadanland, as an icon deeply committed to the development of Islam and humanity. The senator extended condolences, emphasizing the great loss to the Muslim Ummah and the wider community.
Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has described the late prominent businessman and revered Islamic leader, Alhaji Lamidi Ajadi, as an icon whose unwavering commitment to the development of Islam and humanity left an indelible mark.
In a condolence message issued by his media office in Ibadan on Wednesday, Senator Alli remembered Ajadi as a man of profound faith and immense wisdom.
The senator lamented that Ajadi’s demise, particularly in his esteemed position as the Baba Adinni of Ibadan land, represents a significant loss to the Muslim Ummah in Ibadan land.
According to Senator Alli, the business community and all those who benefited from Alhaji Ajadi’s extensive philanthropy, exemplary leadership, and invaluable counsel will profoundly miss him.

The lawmaker extended his heartfelt commiserations to the immediate family of the deceased, the broader Muslim community, and the entire people of Ibadan land.
Senator Alli offered prayers, asking that Almighty Allah grant Alhaji Ajadi Aljanah Firdaus (the highest level of paradise) and provide comfort to those he left behind.
He urged everyone to emulate the virtues of the late Baba Adinni, who, he noted, lived a life characterized by service, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the progress of society.
National Daily Newspaper recalls that Alhaji Lamidi Ajadi passed away in Ibadan on Tuesday at the age of 89. He has since been buried according to Muslim rites.
