Amusan misses out on 100m hurdles final
Nigeria’s medal hopeful, Tobi Amusan finished in third place at the just concluded women’s 100m hurdles semifinals race, Heat 1, Friday morning but will not be competing for a place in the medal podium after missing out on qualification to the final.
The Oregon 2022 World Athletics Championship gold medalist was tied with Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowskia.
Both athletes had a nervous wait to find out which of them would have another chance to reach the final through the reportage.

The non-qualification slot was handed to the Polish after minutes of deliberations by the judges.
A distraught was seen fighting back tears as she made her way out of the arena.
