Two Okada riders murdered in Ondo
Two commercial motorcycle riders have been gruesomely murdered in separate incidents within the Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The first victim, identified as Dada Jatto from Iyani Akoko, was found dead with multiple machete wounds along the Oke Agbe road.
Jatto had been missing for three days before his body was discovered.
In a separate incident, another Okada rider was lured to a location between Ikare and Arigidi Akoko where he was attacked with a sledgehammer.
Despite being rescued and taken to the hospital, he later succumbed to his injuries.

The assailants in the second incident are said to have made away with the victim’s motorcycle.
However, vigilant residents apprehended one of the suspects with the stolen bike at Akunu Akoko.
The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed one of the incidents and stated that investigations are ongoing into both cases.
The killings have caused widespread fear and uncertainty among Okada riders in the area.
