Anambra: IPOB shoot dead DSS officers on campaign duty
Two officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) were shot dead in Anambra on Friday during election campaigns.
Gunmen ambushed the vehicle of the officers on the entourage of a candidate during a rally in Ekwulobia.
The footages and photos online show how bullet riddled the windshields of vehicles.
Joint forces comprising the police and the military have taken over the area.
The bodies of the deceased were hurriedly taken away from the scene as several residents converged.
IPOB has warned no election will take place in Anambra Nov. 6, and has also declared a sit-at-home protest from Nov. 5.
