Andre Silva: Cristiano Ronaldo has silenced everyone against him
AC Milan attacker Andre Silva has lauded the ability of his Portugal team-mate to to prove critics wrong throughout his career
Ronaldo is currently serving a domestic suspension after pushing referee Ricardo Burgos after being sent off during Real Madrid’s first leg encounter against Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana.
However, the attacker is in the Portugal squad for the World Cup qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Hungary and will be determined to make a major impact.
As reported by National Daily, Silva said: “He manages to shut many mouths that speak badly of him.
“We all have the certainty that he will do a good job.

The current Ballon d’Or holder, Ronaldo was also recently named as the best player in last season’s Champions League.
Fast, skillful and direct, he scored 25 goals and created 30 chances last season en route to helping Real to win the La Liga title.
Ronaldo will hope to continue to defy his critics by enjoying another successful season, with Portugal looking to follow up their surprise success at Euro 2016 by thriving at next year’s World Cup in Russia, although they face a battle just to qualify for the tournament.
