Anita Okoye expresses excitement over reunion with ex-husband

The ex-wife of Paul Okoye, Anita Okoye, has spoken out after reuniting with the musician for a family outing.
It appears the one-half of the formerly known duo, P-square and his ex-wife, Anita are trying to create a bond together for the sake of the children they have together despite their divorce.
The musician brought his children and ex-wife to the musical rehearsal when they were both in Detroit for their concert.
Anita who is excited about watching her children perform with their father on stage took to her Instagram page saying that her eyes lit up with her heart filled with pride and emotions after watching their performance. She added how these memories are what they will cherish.
She captioned her post on her Instagram, “Afronation was magical. Not only did my kids watch their dad perform for the first time, but they also joined him in the spotlight.

Seeing their eyes light up beside their Papa and Uncle Papa, crafting memories that I know will be cherished forever. My heart overflows with pride and emotion. These are memories they’ll hold close, always”.
Recall that the two had finalized their divorce in December 2022.
Anita filed from divorce from Paul citing five main factors: infidelity, a fake separation, being an absent parent, fraud, and other challenging situations. She requested a monthly settlement of $20,000 and a number of her husband’s properties.
She further accused her husband of cheating her out of a partnership.
In the divorce petition signed by her lawyer, Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S at an Abuja High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, Anita claimed that she had contributed N10 million to her husband with the agreement that she would own a space at his just completed mall in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Paul Okoye and Anita met in 2004 during their undergraduate days at the University of Abuja. The duo got married on March 22, 2014, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and they have three children together: Andre, born in 2013; and the twins, Nathan and Nadia, born in 2017.
