Atiku Abubakar
@atiku
Happy Birthday to Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, as you turn 49 today. I celebrate you today for your dynamic approach to the throne of your fathers, making it relevant among the younger generation by your natural jovial disposition and still balancing this with tradition, which you carry dutifully and with all royalty.
By your rapprochement with Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, you eased old tensions between your two kingdoms and brought harmony to Yorubaland. As Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), you have also shown outstanding leadership by building bridges – this I find particularly endearing for the good of our nation.
Your Imperial Majesty, I wish you a Happy Birthday today not only as the Aare Adimula of the Source but also as a son of our dear state Osun by marriage.
Kabiyesi, I wish you a long life, and long may you reign. -AA
