The bandits had invaded the community in large numbers, shooting sporadically at the residents, causing many to sustain various degrees of injuries as they escaped death. The bandits were said to have had a field day looting shops, carrying food stuff and other valuables from barns and storage facilities.
Community sources were gathered to have narrated that more than 500 cows and over 1,500 sheep, besides goats, and others, were looted by the bandits in the Tuesday night operations in Yanbuki community.
