Bellingham, Mbappé, Güler fire Real Madrid to victory over Malaga
By Ihuoma Inyama
Real Madrid produced a dominant display as they cruised to a 4-0 victory over Malaga, continuing their strong start to the campaign.
Jude Bellingham opened the scoring in the 19th minute, giving Madrid the breakthrough they needed and setting the tone for a comfortable evening.
Malaga’s hopes of keeping the game close were dealt another blow seven minutes later when A. Herrero turned the ball into his own net, doubling Real Madrid’s advantage.
Madrid continued to pile on the pressure, and Kylian Mbappé made it 3-0 in the 30th minute. The France captain’s goal capped a dominant first-half showing from Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
With a three-goal cushion, Madrid controlled the remainder of the contest and kept Malaga from mounting a comeback.
Arda Güler completed the scoring deep into stoppage time, finding the net in the 90+1st minute to put the finishing touch on a comprehensive victory.
