Benue: APC loses at Supreme Court

Benue Gov. Samuel Ortom eventually floored his rival and APC guber candidate Emmanuel Jimme at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

The apex court affirmed affirmed the election of PDP’s candidate Governor Ortom, putting paid to the long- drawn-out-battle between the two after the state guber election last March .

Jimme too the governor from the tribunal ll the way to the apex court whose final decision upheld the earlier court judgements.

“The judgement of the tribunal and Court of Appeal need not to be disturbed,” the seven-man panel of the apex court ruled.
