Bruce plotting £5m McCarthy bid
Newcastle boss Steve Bruce is hoping he can lure James McCarthy from Everton with a £5 million. The Sun reports that the midfielder is available at on a cut-rate deal as he has become a forgotten man for the Toffees.
Klopp not expecting big signings for Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp again says Liverpool will not be matching the spending of other top clubs in Europe this summer.
The Anfield boss made it clear that his club could not afford to match checks year on year with the likes of PSG, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
“This year is not the end of Liverpool FC,” Klopp was quoted as saying in The Telegraph . “Next year there will be another transfer window. This team is really good and we have invested a lot in it. Now we have to work with that.”
