Buhari leads Tinubu’s campaign in Sokoto
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday led the campaign for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in Sokoto State, appealing to the people of the state to support the party to win the February presidential election.
Buhari, accompanying Tinubu to the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, appealed to the traditional ruler: “my wish is for your support and blessings; we want to win”.
Tinubu subsequently took to his official twitter handle thanked the people of Sokoto State for their support, assuring them of victory in the February election.
Tinubu wrote: Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT “Thank you Sokoto! I am overwhelmed by the love you displayed. “We will all celebrate our resounding victory come February 25th. Special appreciation to His Excellency President @MBuhari for joining us once again. #RenewedHope23”
