Chronicle of selected unfulfilled 2021 prophecies

About this time last year, some significant prophecies were made by certain clergy men for the year 2021 but were unfulfilled as year 2021 ended on Friday, December 31.

A major prophecy was made by at least three clergies was that there will be a change in government in Nigeria where the number two, in this case the vice president, will become the number one, the president without election or coup.

According to Apostle Theophilus Ebonyi, Senior Pastor of Faith on the Rock Ministry International: “God revealed to me in the place of prayer his blessings and intervention in the affairs of Nigeria that government will witness a shift that is going to give ground to the number two citizen to become number one, so saith the Lord.”

However, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday signed the 2022 budget into law. Meanwhile, Nigerians are waiting for Apostle Theophilus Ebonyi to explain why the change in government did not happen as 2021 ended on Friday.

The General Overseer of Shiloh Word Chapel Apo-Abuja, Prophet Ikechukwu Okafor Samuel, also prophesied that “this year, Nigeria will have more unstable leadership.” He also said that Northern leaders will meet for national peace, but some will disagree and form another party. None of these happened.

The prophet further revealed that “A political secret will be exposed in Nigeria and it will divide the parties, ethnic groups, and political leaders to take painful decisions so as to keep the nation going, this prophecy will extend to 2023.” This remains tentative as the transition to 2023 continues.

Prophet Samuel was, however, right in his prophecy and admonition to the Edo State Governor to pray for grace to stand strong, saying: “I saw battles upon battles, spirit and physical.” This prophecy, indeed, reflected in the crisis in Edo Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) where there have been expulsions and counter-expulsions of members including Governor Godwin Obaseki, over party control after the 2020 governorship election in Edo State.

Prophet Okafor Samuel also prophesied: “I see the world leaders giving men medical numbers and codes that will not tally with their faith and natural will.

“I see countries merging to use a common passport, travelling document and currency.”

These two statements could be traced to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate being imposed on citizens by leaders of various countries of the world. He got this right.

Furthermore, Prophet Damilare Solomon Convener and Founder of Prophetic Crew Ministry International, said: “Year 2021 is a year of replacement. He will remove some people from positions of power and replace them with others…
“There would be a fall of a mighty tree (a powerful person) which would cause a fight between rival groups in Nigeria.” none of these occurred in the passing year.

The Convener and Founder of Prophetic Crew Ministry International also revealed: “Some people have been empowered for evil acts with massive destructive weapons to be used in killing people both ordinary citizens and politicians…”

He also prophesied that the vaccine will be released in 2021 and it came to pass.

The common prophesy about change of government in Nigeria presupposed either the incapacitation or the death of the president, which are the only conditions such prophesy would have been fulfilled, which also the constitution prescribes. However, the President went through the year healthier and stronger; and the number two never became the number one as prophesied.

The clergy men may have something to say about this as they speak into the year 2022.
