Jungle justice takes new turn in Bayelsa
Rather than lynch him, a mob took a different route in dealing with a burglar they caught in red-handed at Amassoma, Bayelsa, during the week.
The criminal broke into an apartment at Okodi Street, Adule-ama, and carted away shoes, clothes, a standing fan, among other items.
When they community youth caught him, the stripped him naked, and tied him to an electric pole, and lashed him well enough he started bleeding all over.
Not done yet, the crowd hanged the stolen items on him, and paraded him around the community.
Nobody informed the police as at the time they arrested and tortured him.
