Coalition of Civil Society commends Tinubu for indefinite suspension of EFCC Chairman, Bawa
Coalition of Civil Society organizations, comprising over 150 CSOs, at a forum in Lagos, commended President Bola Tinubu for the indefinite suspension and immediate removal of the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFFC), Abdurasheed Bawa, over allegations of corruption.
The Coalition at a meeting in Ikeja stated that the action of the President sends the right signals of the renewed efforts of President Bola Tinubu to tackle corruption head-on, a move to restore public confidence.
The coalition maintained that the signal is clear that corruption can no longer be tolerated in the country by the government.
