Fintiri congratulates Ribadu on appointment as Special Adviser on Security to President
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has congratulated former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, on his appointment as Special Adviser on Security to President Bola Tinubu.
The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, emphasised that considering the insecurity challenges in Nigeria, the appointment of Ribadu by President Tinubu as Special Adviser on security “is highly significant and supported by many, especially, the people of Adamawa State”.

Governor Fintiri declared that the confidence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Mallam Ribadu “is a clear indication of his recognition of the managerial skills and great professionalism Ribadu has shown in the various positions he has held, both within and outside Nigeria.”
According to the governor, “At a time of great change, and facing the challenge of tackling security concerns, the decision to appoint Ribadu, a former EFCC Chair, is highly significant and supported by many especially the people of Adamawa State.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, celebrating Nuhu Ribadu as a great son of Adamawa State, expressed that his commitment to the growth and development of Adamawa and Nigeria is very much acknowledged and appreciated.
Fintiri declared: “Having worked closely with him, I can testify of his deep passion for the country.”
The Governor urged Ribadu to utilise his wealth of experience on the security of the country in performing his duties. He was of the view that at the time the nation is going through many challenges, “the office remains the beacon of hope for the people”.
