Corruption Trial: FFK tells court he’s resting; justice reacts
A Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, ordered a former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode to pay a fine of N200,000 for being absent from court for his re-arraignment, on the excuse of having a bed rest.
The court had asked counsel to Fani-Kayode, Mr F. Ajudua to choose between revoking the bail of the second defendant or paying the fine.
Fani-Kayode, who just defected from the PDP o the APC, has been facing allegatios of sharing in the multi-billion dollar Dasukigate which the last PDP government squandered on prosecuting ist 2015 presidential campaign.
May believe the defection to the ruing APC put paid to his legal travails.
