Cultists behead rival, kick head about
A cult attacked its rival in Anambra, beheaded one, and in a macabre football session, kicked the skull around on the premises of university’s living quarters in the state .
There was no police to intervene right then.
But after the incident, the state police command vowed to arrest the cultists.
The incident happened at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Igbariam, going by the video trending online.
The victim wore dreadlocks, and was harried out of a car, ad then shot at close quarters.
His skull later appeared on a kind of playground where the attackers were kicking it about.
The state police commissioner, Tony Olofu, who spoke through the command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, said the command is working hard to track down the culprits.
“The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Tony Olofu, has ordered an investigation on the shooting incident on 25/9/2021 by 4 pm along Igbariam road,” he said.
“Preliminary investigation reveals that the shooting was as a result of the rival cult clash.”
