Davido shakes twitter with response to Buhari’s congratulatory message to Adeleke
Nigerian singer, Davido has given Nigerians something new to laugh about on the social media with his sarcastic response to President Muhammadu Buhari congratulatory message to his uncle, Demola Adeleke.
Adeleke was declared winner of the Osun governorship election on Saturday, defeating Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress with a total of 403,371 votes.
Adeleke won in 17 of the 30 local government areas in the election conducted on Saturday.
His closest rival, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC, polled 375,927 votes.
The FEM singer on Sunday, 17th of July, 2022, replied to Buhari in the most sarcastic way ever after he congratulated his uncle.

President Buhari took to twitter to congratulate Senator Ademola Adekele and also the people of Osun for not allowing themselves to be influenced by money offered by the candidates. He also emphasized on the fact the country is finally returning to the Nigeria we once knew and loved.
Reacting to his message, Davido tweeted that this is the first thing Buhari has done that has impressed him.
In his words; “You will leave a LASTING legacy! God bless you for this act alone sir!”
