DSS officer on assignment shot multiple times—by known gunman on same team
An operative of the Department of State Services (DSS), Prince Nwachinaemere Ezemuonye Ozuzu, was allegedly shot dead by an unidentified police officer.
According to Destiny Nwozuzu, a brother of the late officer, the incident happened on Monday around Mgbidi-Awo /Owerri Onitsha road, in Imo.
Nwozuzu said the 38 year-old was shot four times by a police officer, though the DSS, he said, is blaming some unknown gunmen
He revealed that the father of four was shot on his right chest by the police officer on a joint taskforce team.
It was gathered the officer firing warning shots in response to the unknown gunmen shooting.
Yet another source said Ozuzu and his colleagues were just firing blank when a stray bullet hit him.
