Ekiti South eulogizes Gbenga Aluko in death
The Ekiti South Development Agenda, a social framework in the vanguard of mobilizing support for the 2023 governorship candidate from Ekiti South, on Saturday eulogized Senator Gbenga Aluko, a former Minority Leader in the Senate of the National Assembly, after his death for his immense contributions to the development of the district and the state. The group decried that sudden death of the Senator is shocking and devastating to Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.
The Ekiti South Development Agenda celebrated the demised Senator Aluko as a leading political actor, noting that his positive contributions to the progress of Ekiti State and Ekiti South will continue to linger in the minds of many.
Comrade ldowu Afuye, coordinator of the Ekiti South Development Agenda, in a statement described Aluko, as a kinsman that Ode Ekiti, and the Ekiti people will greatly miss. He prayed that God would grant him eternal rest and grant the senator’s family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
