Finally, Arsenal fans can celebrate despite 1-3 painful defeat to Man City

Arsenal fans must have wished to extend their lead over Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title.

But, sadly their hope was dashed as the Pep Guardiola and his boys returned to the Etihad with whole three points which has since mounted pressure on the Emirates club as they were toppled as League leaders by City.

Meanwhile, despite the disheartening result, Nigerian fans of the north London club have got a reason to celebrate as they witnessed their own Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie popularly known as Patoranking made a statement.

National Daily gathered that Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter Patoranking was at hand to present Arsenal’s January Player of the Month award to left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko.

It was a clear delight for the Gunners fans especially around Nigeria as Patoranking was recognised by Arsenal as he presented the “Best player of the month of January” award to the Ukraine international Oleksandr Zinchenko before the clash against City.

The ‘kolo kolo’ crooner had moments ago,  professionally taken to social media to dish out a lovely photo of himself presenting the “Arsenal player of the month award” to Zinchenko.

The Afrobeat singer sharing the photos on his Official Instagram Page on Thursday had accompanied it with a caption which read: “I was honoured to present the player of the month award to Zinchenko last night, not the result we wanted but we move”,

The post has since stirred massive reactions from fans, viewers and followers including Obi Cubana and Chinedu Ikedieze.
