Gunmen invade Oyo community, kidnap two, injure one
Unknown gunmen, in the early hours of Saturday, kidnapped no fewer than two people in Otu town in Oyo State.
It was gathered that Otu is one of the towns in Itesiwaju Local Government Area in Oke Ogun geopolitical zone of the state.
Our correspondent gathered that the two people kidnapped included Mr Dayo Olayanju and wife of Mr Kehinde Obasola.
It was gathered that Obasola escaped with gunshots but his wife was kidnapped by the gunmen.
The whereabouts of the kidnapped victims have not been revealed as at the time of filing this report.

A community leader in the local government area said the incident occurred Saturday morning.
The community leader who asked not to be named said, “It is true. It happened around 2 am today.
“They were kidnapped in different areas. One was kidnapped along Okeho road.
“I have confirmed it. The two people kidnapped are Dayo Olayanju and wife of Kehinde Obasola. Kehinde Obasola escaped with gunshots but his wife was kidnapped.”
Meanwhile. all efforts made by DAILY POST to get reactions from the Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Adewale Osifeso, proved to be abortive, as calls put through his telephone line were not answered.
Also, efforts to get the state Commandant of Western Nigeria Security Network, WNSN, also known as Amotekun, Olayinka Olayanju, were futile.
