Horror! Armed robbers attack banks, terrorize, kill residents, security agents at Uromi
No fewer than 20 armed robbers in four cars stormed four banks, and unleashed terror on residents of Uromi in Edo on Thursday.
At least seven people, including security agents were killed in the attack that lasted for two hours.
According to reports, explosives were used to breach the electronic doors of the banks.
The criminal carted away bundles of cash which they loaded into their cars.
Photos and videos on social media show the level of carnage and murder of Nigerians, including security officers.
The residents wondered why the police and other security agencies didn’t respond.
Edo Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Kongtons Bello, confirmed the incident, and said the police authorities were while officers had been deployed in the area.
