Israeli airstrike hits UN-Operated hospital in Gaza, 19 dead
An Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza has reportedly struck a hospital run by the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, leaving at least 19 people dead, including nine minors.
The airstrike targeted the Jabalia area, according to local media reports.
]Several others were also injured in the attack.
Excerpts from the report:
“The attack on the hospital resulted in widespread destruction, with flames engulfing the building.
Internally displaced people, who had taken refuge near the hospital, were caught in the blaze.”
An Israeli military spokesperson has confirmed that the airstrike claim is under investigation, as the situation in Gaza continues to unfold.

Meanwhile, another airstrike in Gaza killed four people, and rescue teams in Khan Younis recovered the bodies of 12 others, including women and children, from the rubble.
The ongoing violence has led to mounting casualties, further escalating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
