Lagos Marriott Hotel bags Hotel of the Year award
The Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja has been selected as the winner of the 2022 Hotel of the Year for Sub-Saharan for its unique services among its peers.
This award was given by the parent company – Marriott International at the just concluded 2023 GM’s Conference held in Abu Dhabi.
The Hotel has achieved this milestone award in less than 2 years of operations despite the many challenges of doing business in this climate.

The Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja outperformed over 90 Marriott International hotels within the Sub-Saharan region in key performance indicators such as Gross Operating Profit, Guest Satisfaction index and a total sales up by over 45% versus budget. Another important factor that gave the hotel its win included achieving 39% of women in leadership positions within the hotel.
The owning company – Sifax Group and Macfolly Hospitality LTD are very elated at this recognition and look forward to many more wins such as this.
