Lagos police arrest suspect in teenager’s murder. Body found buried in shallow grave. Investigation underway.
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old teenager, Adeolu Olubade.
The victim’s body was found buried in a shallow grave inside a house in the Ejigbo area of Lagos.
According to the police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident came to light when a relative of the victim reported the discovery of the body to the authorities.
Acting on the report, detectives visited the crime scene and exhumed the body, which was then taken to Isolo General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

A shovel, believed to have been used in the crime, was recovered from the scene and registered as evidence.
The 30-year-old suspect is currently in police custody, pending further investigation by the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yaba.
