Lebanon says 50 killed, 300 injured in latest Israeli attacks
At least 50 people have been killed and more than 300 injured, including women and children in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, the Lebanese Health Ministry said on Monday.
In a statement, the ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Centre said that Israeli’s prolonged raids on southern Lebanese towns and villages had led to what it described as “an initial toll,” meaning the numbers were expected to rise.
Among the dead and wounded were children, women and paramedics, the statement said.
The Israeli army said on Monday it had attacked more than 300 targets linked to the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon.
