Lekan Balogun emerges Olubadan of Ibadan
High Chief Lekan Balogun has emerged the Olubadan of Ibadan land, after court ‘clearance’.
The Chief judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola, had dismissed the suit challenging the consent judgment that nullified the promotion of Ibadan High Chiefs to Obas in the state by late Governor Ajimobi. The suit instituted by Olubadan-in-council was withdrawn before the judgment was delivered.
The controversy and legal tussle over the appointment of Otun Olubadan, High Chief Lekan Balogun, as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, was laid to rest by the judgement.
