Lokpobiri introduces Oando MD to Diri in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State, after Oando acquired the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) operating in the state.

Lokpobiri introduces Oando MD Governor Diri for familiarization with the state government in the new venture of the oil firm in Bayelsa.

“Yesterday, I received our brother, the Honourable Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, who came to introduce the Managing Director of Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, Dr. Ainojie Irune, to us.

“Oando Energy recently acquired the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), one of the multinational companies operating in our dear State.

“Thank you Senator Lokpobiri, for putting the state first.

“I have advised the new company to accept the inherited liabilities alongside the assets in the interest of all.

“While we welcome the new company wholeheartedly to the state, I have equally urged the management to maintain good relationship with the host communities and ensure employment of our people, even at the top level of Oando.”
